How to Run an Online Business Without Ignoring Your Children

I jumped out of bed with the solution to my email autoresponder issue. I was working on designing a new email sequence for a new online side business. But, I had been stuck trying to figure out how I wanted my email sales sequence to work.

My mind must have been thinking about it overnight because the second my eyes popped open; the solution was clear.

I sprinted to my computer and got to work.

This is the best part of making a living online. I could work in my pajamas without judgment.

I had barely drafted the subject line when I heard my younger two kids fighting.

Ugh! I ignored them and kept working.

Their arguing got more intense.

I yelled at them from my home office.

“Be nice to each other, please!” I said.

A few minutes later, there was another argument.

I looked at the clock. The kids were probably hungry.

I looked at my screen again and my youngest howled about some injustice.
