Thank you for reading! I kind of tumbled into illustration as a way to play during the pandemic when my brain felt the most broken. I read a non-fiction graphic novel by Lynda Barry called "Syllabus" and it was a kind of guidebook for unlocking visual art creativity. The thing that made the biggest impact for me was the exercise of just drawing on the back of index cards every night. No real agenda, just trying to fill up a few cards with stuff each night. I've been thinking about writing a post about that process and my journey there. Now, I will move that idea up into my queue to get it done sooner!
