This article really resonates with me in light of the recent Medium bonuses for May. I haven’t spent a lot of time writing on here for the past year because of issues like the pandemic, recovering from cancer, and the death of both of my parents. I didn’t get the April bonus and I only published a single story in May. But I got the lowest tier of the May bonus—meaning my $70 haul previous, was among the top 2,000 on the platform. That’s pretty depressing if your plan is to make a living solely from Partner Program money.
